Trip

Lyrics

Easy up and easy down
Easy up and easy down
Well the walls blew up and the world went spinning
And the world went spinning backwards

Easy up and easy down
Easy up and easy down
Well the walls blew up and the world went spinning
And the world went spinning backwards

Easy up and easy down
Easy up and easy down
Well the walls blew up and the world went spinning
And the world went spinning backwards

Easy up and easy down
Easy up and easy down
Well the walls blew up and the world went spinning
And the world went spinning backwards

Notes

"Trip" was the band's ill-fated venture into 1960s psychedelic garage rock, written around Steven's amazing bass riff and Mark's (appropriately) creepy vocals. These tracks were recorded in December 2003, during the same sessions that saw (of all things) the recording of "Sad." Unfortunately, very little else was accomplished that could stand up to the band's ever-increasing standards.

In November 2004, Steven made a remix of "Trip" featuring audio samples from Lockheed Martin corporate videos.
